A leading Bank located in Baghdad - Iraq is looking to hire a Payments Services Coordinator.


Accountabilities & Key Roles: 

  • Ensuring that all related transactions are processed in compliance with the Bank’s P&P and Operational Risk Framework.
  • Efficient, timely, and error free processing of PDCs, Discounting of Cheques/Bills, Clean Collections, LTRs, ECC operations (inward / outward), NAPS/GCCNet Debit Card Disputes, Cards PINs, and SIBNET related activities.
  • Following up related pending issues with concerned depts. and ensuring processing as per Policies and Procedures.
  • Resolving related Audit comments in a timely manner.
  • Processing of PDCs, Discounting of Cheques/Bills, Clean Collections, LTRs, ECC operations (inward / outward), NAPS/GCCNet Debit Card Disputes, Cards PINs , and SIBNET related activities.
  • Implement all P&Ps, Instructions & Circulations received related to all the transactions/activities processed.
  • Process daily related transactions/activities efficiently within the applied policies and procedures.
  • Execute proper reconciliation of physical cheques &related accounts and items per P&P.
  • Ensure that all transactions are completed within the time limit.
  • Handling custody for PDC.
  • Accurately prepare required periodical statistics & reports in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with ACSS in processing of activities centralized at their ends (if any)
  • Perform any other task as assigned by direct supervisor.
  • Compliance with AB Code of Conduct, AB P&Ps, and local Laws and Regulations.
  • Adherence to all Information Security policies and standards to protect the Bank’s employees, assets, resources and data from illegal or damaging actions by individuals, either knowingly or unknowingly.


Job Requirements (to be verified by HR):

Education:  Degree in Business or Administrative & Financial Science from a recognized university.

Experience:  2 years experience in Banking Operations in related areas.

Competencies:

Good in English and Arabic.

Knowledge of Cheques Processing and Discounted Bills operations & related policies & regulations.

Interpersonal and communication skills.

Good Computer skills.
